The Board of YWAT consists of the following persons:

• Ilona Kirhensteine, Treasurer (Latvia, ikirhenstein@ywat.org)
• Yoseph Araya, Secretary (Eritrea, yaraya@ywat.org)
• Mostafa Elkhedr Gad Ahmed (Egypt, mahmed@ywat.org)
• Ahmed Abd El Khalek (Egypt, a akhalek@ywat.org)

The Board of Directors is elected to safeguard the mission of the organization, establish YWAT’s strategic direction and hold the Executive Secretariat accountable for implementation and delivery. The board is elected for one year and meets every quarter. The current board was elected as board members during YWAT’s annual meeting in May 2004.
