Task Force Cordinator: Yoseph Araya from Eritrea
The Communications Task Force is one of the three key departments in the YWAT organizational structure. The objectives of this taskforce are to facilitate communication between YWAT members as well as the general public. In this respect the communication TF manages the YWAT web platform, YWAT newsletters and production of YWAT/water materials.
The Communications Task Force is currently recruiting members to be involved in key roles:
- Editor to the Newsletter: the editor will be helping in organizing the newsletter information for desktop publishing. This will involve compiling the incoming news articles and when possible editing it for inclusion.
- Desktop publisher: this member would be helping in setting up / publishing YWAT documents and also promotional materials. It would suit a creative thinker and one who enjoys close collaboration with several members.
Working within this taskforce you will get to know several international YWAT members, exposed to other water professionals and decision makers gain some experience in communicating issues and when possible give a start to your advocacy/journalistic career.
