How to Organize a Regional Workshop
If you want to organize a Regional Workshop, read YWAT's Regional Workshop Handbook.
The workshops are designed by YWAT members and they do this free of charge. The concept itself is free of charge available for young people or organizations of young people who want to attend or organize these workshops. The information is available on the YWAT website, in a leaflet (write to YWAT secretariat, PO Box 364, 4380 AJ Vlissingen, The Netherlands) or by consultation of the nearest YWAT member in your region (see Contact Us).
YWAT members have produced various tools for the organization of workshops (a database of youth initiatives, a network of people related to water problems who can play a role in the workshop, ideas and information about publicity, registration and facilities), tools to use in the workshops (program format, presentation tools, information on YWAT: profile, role, opportunities/assistance and tools to use in the follow-up of the workshops (database with information on other initiatives, knowledge/information on specific problems).
The local workshop organizer is responsible for an appropriate room or hall, for the invitation of the participants and for the attraction of regional/local funding (YWAT will offer support through her experience and knowledge).
