The Youth-led Water Initiatives Task Force’s objective is to create a massive global library that tells the story of youth-led water initiatives with multimedia content that inspires a generation of young people aware of water, sanitation and hygiene issues.

The Task Force has developed an innovative research strategy that searches online and off-line sources for new youth-led water initiatives. We have categorized our growing list of sources into categories: the Internet, conferences and events, international organizations, universities and professors, youth networks and government agencies

The Youth-led Water Initiatives Task Force is looking for new members who are interested in helping to build the database of youth-led water initiatives. Specifically, the Task Force is seeking members who can help:

  • Implementing the research strategy
  • Submitting initiatives to the database
  • Seeking submissions from YWAT members
  • Meeting with partners
  • Approaching sponsors
  • Developing initiative guidelines
  • Design communications materials
